- Zones
-
- Windows contain graphical objects such as icons and pictures, text
-
- areas, and components such as buttons, scroll bars, and check boxes.
-
- Some objects such as radio buttons or check boxes are used to change
-
- settings or to modify future actions. To make creating an interface
-
- easier to understand for anyone using Marksman‚Ñ¢, we will
-
- collectively call everything (graphical objects, text areas, and
-
- components) that can be placed inside a window, Zones.
-
- .
-
- Marksman‚Ñ¢ contains twelve different types of zones to use in
-
- windows. They are; buttons, icons, pictures, static text, edit
-
- text, check boxes, radio buttons, lists, rectangles, lines, scroll
-
- bars, and popup menus. Of these zones, some are most often used in
-
- dialogs and alerts. They are buttons, radio buttons, check boxes,
-
- edit text, static text and icons. Standard document windows usually
-
- have edit text and scroll bars.
-
- .
-
- Zones, like windows, have additional attributes that are specific to
-
- each zone type. They can be dimmed, or initially selected when the
-
- project is run. To set these attributes, double-click the selected
-
- zone, or select the zone, then choose Zone Info from the Options menu.
